This is where you will find Beach Lagoon – Hilton Head Ocean Front Properties For Sale.  There are a total of 29 T-Streets with some 625 +/- properties on these T-Streets, dependent upon how many have been combined since the last writing.  The “T-Street” is a concept alleged to have been developed by Stewart Dawson of Boston land planning firm Sasaki Associates in the late 1950s as a response to Mr. Charles Fraser’s concerns with the ability of the resort to sell properties not on the ocean within a reasonable time.  Hideo Sasaki, professor and Chairman of the Harvard Graduate School of Landscape Design, was part of the ‘brain trust’ that Mr. Fraser put together in the early days of ‘Sea Pines University’, drawing from Ivy League, UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke, and UVa.  As a reference, ocean front lots were originally priced at $5,300 at original release in 1957.  By the time of the first Heritage Classic, the price had risen to approximately $100,000 and more.
