Also home of Coligny Plaza, Forest Beach (FB) is the most popular tourist mecca on Hilton Head Island, SC. It is broken-up into North Forest Beach (NFB), which has most residential single-family homes, and South Forest Beach (SFB), which has two residential neighborhoods, but is marked primarily by ocean front and ocean-oriented villas that are also popular with vacationers all Spring, Summer, and Fall.
Two villa complexes (ocean front Sea Crest and 2’nd row N Shore Place) and three ocean front residential neighborhoods (HHBS1, 2, and 3) and two just off-ocean neighborhoods (HHBS1A and 2A) reside on NFB, which is the slightly pricier of the two. Coligny Plaza can also be found on NFB, right off Coligny Circle on the North side.
SFB has numerous villa complexes, of which are featured seven ocean front complexes (Ocean One, Beachwood Place, Shorewood, Ocean Club, Hilton Head Beach Villas, Ocean Dunes and more) and a few more across the street which are also very popular and attractive investments (Surf Court and Courtside). There are also two residential neighborhoods on SFB – Lawton Beach, which is ocean front, and then the Palm Forest, across SFB Drive from the ocean that has three streets of ocean-oriented homes.
FB property owners have innumerable amenities to enjoy up and down the beach. Coligny Plaza is at the heart of FB and right off Coligny Circle cornering NFB Drive and Pope Avenue. It has over sixty (60) restaurants, shops, and two convenience stores. The Beach Shoppes, across from Coligny, also off the circle, but on the oceanfront has more stores and restaurants, as does Heritage Plaza, up Pope Avenue. There is a public beach club right on the circle with public parking across the street from the Plaza.
